Brew the Chai Tea
Steep a chai tea bag in a cup of hot water for 3-5 minutes
Steam or Heat Milk
If you have a milk frother, you can use it to froth the milk to create a creamy texture. Otherwise, you can heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scalding. Do not let it boil.
Mix the Chai Tea and Milk
In a serving mug, combine the brewed chai tea and steamed milk. Adjust the milk-to-tea ratio to your preference, but a 1:1 ratio is common.
Spice and Garnish
Add sweetener if desired and stir until it's well mixed. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top or add a cinnamon stick for an extra touch of flavor.
